Gardens Valley Gardens Lodge is situated in spectacular landscaped grounds overlooking the Pacific Ocean and Kaimai Ranges. The tranquil gardens are organically maintained with no sprays of any kind used on the property. The gardens comprise: Numerous woodland glades Native bush Extensive lawns, ideal for picnics Meandering flower beds with native and exotic shrubs Ponds with fountains, waterfalls and water lilies Sculptures The gardens have become a haven for a large array of birdlife including tui, kaka, fantails, kereru and hawks. Other wildlife commonly found include frogs, wetas, hedgehogs, and many more. The Valley Gardens are open to the public for limited periods, although as our guest, you are free to wander round at any time.
